I didn't craft much today. I did go shopping. I know, most sane people try to avoid stores on black friday, but if there are good deals that I want I actually enjoy the whole hustle. This morning, however, I slept in a bit and only hit a couple of stores.
I then spent most of the afternoon filling in white space with a black sharpie. There was a map in a book. It wanted to be turned into a quilt (not by me, not for me). So it got blown up pretty big and a lot of the black in the black and white map turned out to be grey, therefore when it got big it had a lot of white in it. It is now black again. It actually looks pretty cool, now that the white specks are gone. It can now be taken, made into transfers, put onto cloth, and then sewn and quilted. It will have a happy life now. (I think I'm a bit tired).
Oh right, the contest is over. Thanks for all the entries. Although some of you tried to sneak a little guilt in with your entries (yes, I remember all my non-knitting UFOs), I did enjoy reading them. ...and the winner is?
ummm.. boogeyman's wife. I'll email you soon, or you can email me first, and we can discuss your prize. Sorry Jbb - someday you'll win.
