This week's pick is called Glamour in Glass.
This is actually the second book in the series. The first book is called Shades of Milk and Honey. The author is Mary Robinette Kowal.
I enjoyed these books, the second more than the first I think, and would describe them as Jane Austin meets Patricia Wrede. Magic is prevalent and is "an essential skill for a lady of quality". Otherwise, it's Regency England and a fun fantastic read.
In the first book you meet Jane Ellsworth, who is 28, single, and plain. She has great talent with magic, but is invisible next to her attractive younger sister.
Sound like something you'd like to read?
