I finally decided I needed a project for me in the middle of everything, so I found a pattern I liked for the yarn I had spun during the summer, and a week or so later I bound off the last leaf on this scarf/shawlette:
Of course, that was the same day that the snow started and we lost power for a week and didn't celebrate Halloween, so I ended up wearing it randomly throughout the week.
I didn't block it then (no heat = use scarf; not get it wet on purpose) and I still haven't - I would like to some time, but it won't be any time soon.
Sorry some of these pics are a dark - figured it was better to get it done than to wait for great light!
