Today has been quite a strange day. We got the first snow of the season - just a couple of inches. The girls were very excited. They made sure their work got done quickly and were out playing just before lunch, as the snow stopped falling. The back yard got trampled with foot prints everywhere. I love the look of freshly walked through snow.
In knitting I am making progress on my husband's second sock. I am within a handful of rows of starting the gusset increases. So far it seems to be matching the other sock, so all is well. I'm planning to make sure those get started tonight and then do a couple of rows on the lace scarf.
